maker Volkswagen started sales of their upgraded version of hatchback model
‘Polo GT TDI’ in India. The Polo GT TDI is an upgraded version of the classic
Polo which is already available in the country. It is powered by a 1.6 litre 4
cylinder turbo diesel engine which is used in the premium car Vento and is capable
to give 105PS and 250Nm. The Polo GT TDI comes with a 5 speed manual
transmission system. Volkswagen claims that the new machine will give a steady
fuel efficiency of 19.78 kmpl.
Apart from the old versions the GT TDI has halogen
headlamps for improvised night driving and the grill has got chromium covering
and is gifted with alloy wheels of 185/60 R15. To bring a fresh appeal
Volkswagen made the interior parts also rich enough like the external outfits.
Major features associated to the interior are Milan fabric upholstery, leather
covered steering wheel, new moulded gear knob and also the fresh design of
handbrake lever. Volkswagen gives a chromium finish to the dash board and
cabin. Polo GT TDI also provides auto AC, height adjustable driver’s seat, remote
locking and multifunction steering wheel.
