In these days Micromax
has emerged as a big brand in the smartphone market in India and they have
succeeded in making a challenge for the major players like Samsung and Sony.
After exploring the smartphone segment Micromax has put their next step on Tablet
segment. Micromax has almost set ready to launch a budget tablet named Funbook
P255 which is already being listed on several online sellers sites for Rs.
4,499.
Micromax Funbook P255
have a 7inch wide capacitive display touch screen which will give a resolution
of 800X480 pixels. It runs on a 1.2GHz Cortex-A8 processor and with a Mali-400
GPU. It is powered by Android 4.0 IceCream Sandwich. Micromax Funbook P255 has
two camera points, rear main camera is a 2MP one and also a front facing camera
of 0.3 MP for 3G enabled operations.
Its memory consists of
512 MB RAM and has a internal storage capacity of 1.15GB which can be expanded
upto 32 GB with the help of a microSD card. Users can connect the Micromax
Funbook P255 to external devices through Wi-Fi, Micro USB and 3G dongle.
To
cater the increased power requirements it is mounted with a power cell of
2600mAh capacity. Micromax claims that on testing its battery gave around 150
hours at standby mode and on internet browsing it exists for around 4 hours.

Micromax Funbook P255 is available for pre order bookings on certain online shopping portals like Snapdeal, Infibeam and Flipkart.
