After Micromax, Xolo has now announced the launch of its first Windows Phone-based smartphone in India. Named the Xolo Win Q900s, the phone is claimed to be the world's lightest smartphone that weighs merely 100 grams.
The phone is exclusively available on the e-commerce site Snapdeal.com at Rs 9,999. Users can pre-book the device starting Saturday, but it will be released in the second of July.
The new Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone has a 4.7-inch 720p display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with an 8 megapixel auto focus rear camera with an LED flash and PureCel Sensor, which is said to provide bright and clear pictures in both high and low light environment. The phone includes a 2 megapixel front camera. his dual-SIM phone has an internal storage space of 8GB. It supports a microSD card of up to 32GB. The phone is packed with a 1800mAh battery.
Xolo's Win Q900s will compete against Micromax's Canvas Win W121 that comes with similar specifications.
