Samsung Launches New Galaxy Tab S - 10.5 and 8.4 inches

Samsung has unveiled its new flagship tablet - the Samsung Galaxy Tab S - that is also the Korean company's thinnest and lightest tablet to date. The Galaxy Tab S comes in two sizes: 8.4 inch and 10.5 inch.
Both the variants feature a WQXGA (2560x1600, 16:10) Super AMOLED display (with a 100,000:1 contrast ratio) and are 6.6mm thin. The 10.5-inch model weighs and the 8.4-inch 465g.
Samsung has also partnered with 30 mobile content and service providers for customised offerings for the Tab S, including Marvel and Amazon.


Accessories launched along with the Galaxy Tab S include: A Simple Cover; Book Cover that configures to three different display angles; and a Bluetooth keyboard.
Both tablets run on Android KitKat 4.4 and are powered by a Exynos 5 Octa (1.9 GHz QuadCore + 1.3 GHz Quadcore) or Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3 GHz Quadcore processor.
The tablets include a 8 megapixel rear camera with flash and a front 2.1 megapixel Full HD camera.
The Galaxy Tab S will be available in 16 GB and 32 GB storage options (with support for microSD card of up to 128GB.

The tablets will go on sale in select markets from July 2014 and will be available in Titanium Bronze or Dazzling White colour options.
