Mercedes Benz Launches 'Celebration Edition' of C Class

Mercedes Benz has launched a new model of its widely accepted sedan model ‘C Class’ in India. The ‘Celebration Edition’ of C Class is parked at showrooms bearing a price tag of Rs. 39.16 lakh. Mercedes Benz launched this model in India to tribute the brand’s most successful model C Class which was sold over 10 million units across global markets. 

The C Class is powered by the popular C 220 CDI which is a 4 cylinder diesel engine with 7G Tronic plus dual clutch automatic transmission. It is capable to deliver 170PS of power and a torque of 400Nm. The notable changes in the Celebration Edition are AMG kitting which contains modified bumpers, side skirts, smoked lamps and new alloy wheels. These changes brought the entire unit a facelift look and feel from the normal C Class and it highly resembles the design of C63. The ‘Edition C’ embossing on the front panel is also a new thing. The new alloy wheels have five spokes and 17 inches.


When look into the interior part, seatings gets a Alcantara and leather finish with blue stitching which generates a contrast style. Benz has given the dashboard more sportier look with silver inserts rather than wooden finishing which is much common now. Full colour LED display and navigation system is also comes as a part of the standard model.
