Sony Launched Xperia Z1, 20MP Camera Smartphone

Sony made themselves ready to welcome the Diwali festive season in India with the launching of their flagship smartphone model Xperia Z1. Sony tries to challenge the other leading brands with the new device and they are presenting a number of new features with it. In Xperia Z1 Sony introduces a 20.7MP camera with their patended G-Lens and BIONZ technology which is mainly used in DSLR cameras.

Sony Xperia Z1 features a high end 5.0 inch wide TFT full HD display which will give a resolution of 1920X1080 pixels. The display is powered with a new feature called TRILUMINOS, which took from the new generation TV series of Sony and it also contains very famous Sony BRAVIA Engine which provides a superior vision of the images. It sports with a powerful Snapdragon 800 series processor and gives maximum speed of 2.2GHz. The Xperia Z1 comes with 2GB RAM and has an internal memory of 16GB which can be expanded upto 64GB with the help of a external memory card. It operates on latest version of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and one can choose apps among about one million applications and games.

The Sony Xperia Z1 satisfies (IP55/IP58) certifications of water proof and dust proof and Sony claims the device won’t affect with water upto a depth of 5 feet and for 30 minutes.

Sony Xperia Z1 is considered as a high end camera smartphone as it houses a 20.7MP CMOS Exmor RS Camera sensor which has a f1/2.3 inch aperture with a patented in-house Sony G-Lens with 27mm wide angle and bright f2.0 aperture. The high definition camera is also powered by a different BIONZ image processor engine. Xperia Z1 comes with a lot of pre installed dedicated camera applications like manual and auto options, time shift burst, Sweep panorama, Social live, info-eye feature, and AR Effect feature which helps users to pu ‘Augmented Reality’ scenarios on to an image to take short video clips. It also has secondary front facing camera of Exmor R with 1080 pixel video recording facility.

The Sony Xperia Z1 is available in the stores at a price of around Rs. 40,000.
