Gionee Launches GPad G3 Phablet in India for Rs. 9,699


Major budget smartphone manufacturer Gionee has released a budget smartphone cum tablet features device in the Indian smartphone market. The GPad G3 can be defined as a phablet as it holds the features of both the smartphone and tablet. The GPad G3 is available for a price of Rs. 9,699 and is listed for sale in the leading online shopping portal Snapdeal. By launching the GPad G3 Gionee has extended its phablet product line as the GPad G1 and GPad G2 were already a part of it. The new device has a 5.5 inch wide display which gives 480X854 pixel resolution. It works on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system and is controlled by 1.2GHz quad core Media Tek MT689 processor with PowerVR SGX 544 GPU.

The phablet supports voice calling functions and it is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) device along with dual standby. Storage capacity of Gionee GPad G3 includes 1GB RAM and a 4GB internal memory which is also expandable with external memory cards upto 32GB. The device sports a 5MP rear main camera with LED flash and also has VGA front facing camera. The device can be connected to external networks using Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS and 3G. Dimensions of the GPad G3 measures 157.3x79.3x9.6mm. The device is powered by a 2250mAh battery and gives better backup for browsing on internet.
