Following Samsung LG Also to Launch Curved Display 'G Flex'

Getting signs, which assures that the coming future is of curved displays. Following the path led by Samsung, there are some reports leaked out that LG is also on the trial run of a curved display. Reports further said, LG will launch the curved in coming November and most probably in the name ‘G Flex’.

Recently Samsung announced that they will launch the curved display in October. Sources citing Samsung claims that company will debut the flexible display in South Korea where the electronic giant originated. Samsung also have the plans to present upgraded version of Galaxy Note 3 with the new flexible screen. Sources further revealed that the new Galaxy Note may have a OLED (organic light-emitting diode) screen which also have the capability of flexibility. It is expected that Samsung will unveil the new product at Samsung Electronics Show which will be held in Las Vegas at 2014.

Even though LG is planned to launch the product in November but there are chances for delaying of the launch due to some technical reasoning. LG’s proposed display, G Flex will be based on plastic OLED technology and expected to have a 6 inch wide display. There are some screenshots spread over the internet and is said to be the prototypes of the ‘rumored device’. But LG was not yet ready to officially confirm about the news and all other details or features of the new gizmo are kept under the cover.
