Apple will Launch iPhone 6 with a Larger Display

No doubt, Apple is receiving good feedback as well as good sales figures while passing a couple of weeks once the much awaited iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C were launched in markets across the globe. Even Apple itself was wondered on the Customer responses on these handsets. Now reports says the time of excitement is over as Apple has started their works on a new iPhone model. Rumors that spreading over air tells Apple is already testing their new handset iPhone 6 and it may have a bigger screen. Peter Misek who is a Business analyst at Jefferies assumes that iPhone 6, Apple’s proposed iphone will most likely to have a new design and a 4.8 inch display. Basis of this assumption is the predecessors of iPhone 5S and 5C were 3.5 inch size handsets while it became 4 inch in iPhone 5S and 5C.

For some time Apple faces a challenge in the global market from other major vendors like Nokia, Sony and especially from Samsung in terms of large screen phones. Moreover the trend in the handset market is also shown a growth towards large screen models. Samsung is leading the segment with a handful of models, size varying from 4 inch to 6 inches. They have even launched a market first curved display handset Galaxy Round in the market. Now Apple realizes that no longer they could turn face to this fact and sets ready to move along with the time.

Market watchers expect that Apple’s proposed iPhone 6 will be par with Moto X and HTC One in terms of display but will be shorter to Samsung Galaxy S4 which is a 5 inch phone. IDC, leading market research firm observes that in the first two quarter of the year, 40 percent of the smartphones shipped worldwide were big screens and they are bigger than 4 inches. The report also shares that we could not expect the iPhone 6 from Apple before September 2014.
