Sony Launched SmartWatch 2 in India for Rs. 14,990

World’s pioneer in electronic gadget maker Sony has presented a new smartwatch which can be associated to Android devices in Indian market for Rs. 14,990. One can wear Sony SmartWatch 2 in wrist and through which control various operations of the smartphone which is kepted in pocket or handbag. The SmartWatch can be connected to the smartphone using Bluetooth.

The Sony SmartWatch has a 1.6 inch bigger display which gives a high resolution of 220X176 pixels. This bigger display helps to notify user, the messages and calls comes to the smartphone. Further one can view the emails, Facebook or Twitter accounts and can check calendar or to control the digital players or Walkman as a remote control.

Sony has pre installed a number of applications in the SmartWatch 2 to make it able to work as a second screen of your Android device. Using the smart camera app one can take pictures with the smartphone. You can use it as a remote control to control the presentations while taking a session or seminar. The app Presentation Pal makes it suitable for this purpose.

While driving you can use Sony SmartWatch as a navigator by taking the mapping app and apply the desired route in it. With the help of Runtastic, an app for fitness one can monitor the progress of fitness activities.

The Sony SmartWatch 2 allows one to download emails and read later even when the phone is not connected to it. You can adjust the volume and tracks of the music player without touching the smartphone.

The Sony SmartWatch 2 can be charged using a standard Micro USB cable as it provides NFC connectivity. This device is water resistant and one can attach it with a 24 mm standard strap.

Sony announced that this wearable device will be available in the stores in October and in India The Sony SmartWatch 2 costs Rs. 14,990.
