Gionee will launch the
flagship smartphone Elife E7 in India today on 24th December. It is expected
that the phone will be available by next month for purchase across the country.
In India Elife E7 will compete with Smasung’s Galaxy Grand 2. The Elife E7 features
a large 5.5 inch full HD display with a pixel density of 401 ppi. It gives a
picture resolution of 1920X1080 pixels. The device comes with two processor
options, the 4G version has a processor type of 2.5 GHz quad core Snapdragon
800 processor while the 3G version is powered by a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 900
processor. RAM capacity is also varies with the onboard storage, the 16GB
variant has 2GB RAM while the 32GB handset comes with 3GB RAM. All models has
Adreno 330 GPU. 
The Gionee Elife E7
comes with preinstalled highly modified version of Android Jelly Bean 4.2 and
Gionee named its user interface as Amigo. The Elife E7 is a camera centric
handset as it holds a wide 5.5 inch full HD screen. The shooter is a 16 MP
snapper on the rear side and also has a 8 MP front camera. Gionee has
customized camera applications with the Elife E7 and it allows people to take
pictures on five different ways like voice based trigger, shutter button, touch
trigger, smile detection shutter and V gesture. The apps further allows users
to have editing functions like auto makeup effects and intelligent screen
detection feature. There is also a Photo Album feature which automatically
categorises photos by time and place.
The device is packed
with a non removable 2,500mAh battery and the smartphone is available in
different colours like black, white, blue, pink, green, yellow and orange.
Gionee claims that the
Elife E7 is the most powerful smartphone which comes from China. It runs on the
same chipset which Google using in Nexus 5. Gionee has not yet revealed about
the price level of the device but is expected that it will comes around Rs.
25,000 as Gionee targeting Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 with the Elife E7 in the
subcontinent.
