Lenovo Announces New Android Smartphone Vibe Z

The Chinese electronics giant Lenovo has extended its Vibe smartphone portfolio with the new model Vibe Z. The new Vibe Z is a dual SIM Android smartphone and it falls in the category of phablets as it possesses the characteristics of both a smartphone and a tablet. Lenovo has initially launched it in China alone and some online portals reported that it will be available in other markets soon.

The Lenovo Vibe Z features a 5.5 inch full HD display and is powered by a 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, the same kind which is used in the prestigious devices like Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z1 and is also mounted with Adreno 330 GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB onboard memory which can be further expanded to 32GB with the aid of external memory card. It works on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The Vibe Z phablet boasts a 13MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and is using Sony Exmor RS sensor. Lenovo offers best performance for its camera even at low light conditions as it is powered by BSI sensor. It also associated with dual LED flash. It also has a 5MP front facing camera for 3G services.

Lenovo claims that the Vibe Z will provide 278 hours of standby time. Like Samsung and LG Lenovo also offers special colourful range of flip covers which resembles the S View cover for Galaxy Note 3 and Quick Window cases. These Lenovo cases allow the user to slide to answer or reject an incoming call.

There is no hint available about the price of Vibe Z but Lenovo confirmed that it will start accepting the preorders of Vibe Z soon.
