India’s new indigenous
smartphone maker Intex has launched a new Android smartphone in their product
line up. The Aqua i6 is a medium ranged smartphone which offers better
specifications and a satisfactory performance at an affordable price. The Aqua
i6 features a 5 inch wide FWVGA display and powered by a MediaTek second
generation quad core processor. It provides a clock speed of 1.3GHz and is run
on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. It possess an internal memory of 512MB RAM and
comes with an internal storage capacity of 4GB which can be further expanded
upto 32GB supporting by an external memory card.
The Aqua i6 also
features dual camera system; the main rear camera is an 8MP one while the front
facing camera which facilitates video calling functions is a 2MP one. This new
gadget offers all the connectivity options which are available in other high
end models like 3G, HSPA, WiFi hotspot and Bluetooth 4.0. The Intex i6 is
packed with a 1900 mAh battery which the company claims to give a standby time
of 220 hours and a talk time of 6 hours. The i6 smartphone comes in two
colours, black and white and is available at stores for buying at a price of
Rs. 8,990.
