Lenovo Announces New Android Laptop A10

Google owned the famous desktop and laptop operating system Chrome OS but they have developed a new operating system for smartphones and tablets called Android operating system. Then Google received a lot of questions from various parts that why they are not enabling the Android to work with PCs and laptops. Some manufacturers released some laptops which are compatible with Android but all of them were failed to receive customer notices.

As a move to change this scenario Lenovo launched a new laptop, A10 which is an Android Laptop. The new device bears a 10.1 inch HD touch screen and Lenovo describes it as an affordable, ultra portable, dual mode laptop. A10 is the first of its kind from Lenovo and the company is planning to extend its Android product line up by adding more models to it. The company is already entered into the segment of Android smartphones.

Lenovo A10 will operates on Android 4.2 OS and features an RK3188, quad core Cortex A9 processor capable to give a maximum frequency of 1.6GHz which is the highest frequency of a quad core ARM based system presently available in the market. Lenovo describes that the Cortex A9 processor delivers excellent performance for gaming and entertainments. The new model has ​2GB memory and 32GB built-in storage and supports microSD cards for expansion. Connectivity options include two USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth 4.0 and one HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) port. The new laptop-cum-tablet has a 0.3MP webcam and stereo speakers. Lenovo offers A10 is equipped with a high capacity battery which will give up to nine hours of video playback which ensures that the devices is upto the mark for both on the road and at the desk. Further the Lenovo A10 will be a light weight device as it is weighing less than 1KG and is measuring just 17.3 mm thickness. Lenovo claims these features makes A10 an ideal companion for users and it provides easy access to a wide range of applications on a unique dual mode platform, which enriches the user experience for entertainment and Web browsing as well as productivity.

Earlier Lenovo launched a multi mode laptop series like Yoga, A10 also possess the features of Yoga series like, the screen can fold partly back and the keyboard can act like a stand. Even though Lenovo describes A10 as an affordable one but not yet revealed the price of the system.
