Samsung Ready to Roll Out Curved Smartphones

The world’s largest handset maker, the Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, is setting up to bring in a curved display smartphone in October itself, in order to preserve its domination in this fast growing competitive market. A smartphone with a curved display will be considered as the beginning phase in screen advancement which may then move to bendable or foldable models, thereby causing a drastic change in the high-end smartphone business. D.J.Lee, the business head of strategic marketing of Samsung mobile, at the launching ceremony of the Galaxy Note3 smartphone in Seoul, declared that they were scheduling to commence a curved display smartphone at the beginning of October in South Korea.

Recently Samsung has crossed over Apple and became the world’s leader in the smartphone market now emphasized to introduce gadgets with bendable display screens that extends from the side of a device. Now, televisions with curved display are commercially available in the market. Samsung and LG Electronics Inc have begun introducing big-screen LED TV with curved display at a cost of about $9,000.
