Micromax has extended
its budget smartphone series Bolt with a new model which is listed on the
website for Rs. 4,999. The Bolt A61 is considered as an entry level Android
smartphone and with this dual SIM handset Micromax targets those who like to
shift from feature phones to smartphones. The Bolt A61 features a 4inch TFT
display which gives a picture resolution of 480X800 pixels and is mounted with
a 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7710 processor and paired with 256MB RAM. It is a dual SIM
(GSM+GSM) handset also with dual standby. The Bolt A61 operates on Android 4.1
Jelly Bean OS. Its internal storage comes with 512MB which further supports microSD
cards up to 16GB.
The Micromax Bolt A61
boasts a 2MP rear camera with LED flash and also possess a VGA front facing
camera. Connectivity features of the device include WiFi, Bluetooth, GPRS,
EDGE, Micro USB and 3G. Micromax preinstalled Bolt A61 with many apps like
Hike, Opera, Spuul, Game HUB, Kingsoft Office and M! Live. It comes with a
1500mAh battery which will deliver 3.5 hours of talk time and 160 hours of
standby time.
By launching Bolt A61
now Micromax has 7 smartphones in the Bolt line up. Bolt A26, Bolt A34, Bolt
A35, Bolt A40, Bolt A51 and Bolt A58 are the other member of the series.
