Micromax Launched Full HD Android Smartphone Canvas Turbo A250

Micromax has extended their Canvas smartphone series in India with a full-HD smartphone for a price of Rs. 19,990. The Canvas Turbo A250 made Micromax to enter into the club of Full-HD smartphones. On the first look of the gadget it gives an impression that Micromax has not left anything to consider while making it just like the rocking Wolverine star, Hugh Jackman is hired in the advertisement of Canvas Turbo. 

The Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 holds a 5 inch SHARP full-HD CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) IPS display to give an unmatched viewing experience. It delivers 441ppi density images for crispy and clear viewing. Users can watch pictures in any angle and even in daylight with the NM2 wide angle technology.  It is mounted by MediaTek MT6589T quad core processor that has a clock speed of 1.5GHz. It has an internal memory of 2GB RAM. There is a dedicated PowerVR graphics processor which outputs excellent graphic functions while gaming or watching movies. The Micromax Canvas Turbo A250 possess an internal storage of 16GB but one cannot expand it further with external memory cards.

The device runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS. It supports smart gesture actions like answering calls by simply holds the phone on ears or turn on the speaker call by flipping over the phone. It also comes with the feature called “blow to unlock” which was seen in Canvas 4. The Canvas Turbo supports networks like 2G and 3G GSM networks. It’s connectivity options also includes Bluetooth, GPRS and Wi-Fi services.

The canvas Turbo A250 boasts a 13MP BSI sensor rear camera which supports auto focus with LED flash. A 5MP camera is fixed on the front side for 3G functions. It comes with a dedicated camera app called “Camerazzi” using it one can animate still pictures. Several individual photodraphs can be combined together to a panorama view with the help of 360 degree panorama capture and also one can remove unwanted objects from the pictures that was taken with the feature Object Eraser. The smartphone is packed with a 2,000 mAh battery which gives a 105 hours of standby timeand 7 hours of talk time.

The phone comes with a number of preloaded applications like M! Security, M! Live, M! Unlock as well as third party vendors like Spuul, Hike, Opera Mini and more. We can expect some of the BlackBerry applications also in the Canvas A250 as Micromax has entered into an agreement with BlackBerry for this purpose.

  1. Its pretty descent phone and I am happy with phone performance so far. But phones get heated very soon as you start using it. Battery last only one day hardly, you would need to charge it twice a day if you need to use for more hours
