Google-LG Nexus 5 Smartphone Launched with Android 4.4 KitKat

Finally Google uncovered its much awaited Nexus 5 smartphone with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat across the global markets. Google developed this Nexus 5 version with the association of LG. Google-LG Nexus 5 is the first device which uses Android KitKat version. This new device comes with two memory options. Nexus 5 with 16GB memory costs Rs. 28,999 whereas the other variant with 32GB memory costs Rs. 32,999. Currently Google Nexus 5 is available in countries like US, Canada, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan and Korea only but expected that it will be launched in Indian market very soon.

Nexus 5 features 5 inch wide full HD Corning Gorilla Glass display which provides 1920X1080 picture resolution and a picture density of 445ppi. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 2.3GHz quad core processor and also comes with a Adreno 330GPU. The Google-LG Nexus 5 has a 2GB RAM internal memory and comes in two memory options 16GB/32GB.

The Nexus 5 smartphone boasts a 8MP rear camera with optical image stabilization feature and is fitted with a new lens which is touted to capture more light into frames for better night capturing. It is also equipped with a 1.3MP front facing camera for video calling. With the latest Android 4.4 KitKat operating software Nexus 5 is better aligned with Google search engine and other services like Google Plus and it will instantly provide details about a person and his habits while you search. Nexus 5 users can also enjoy the service of Google virtual assistant Google Now which is also preinstalled in the device.

The Nexus 5 is packed with a battery of 2300mAh and is available in two colours, black and white.
Google claims, with the Android KitKat Nexus 5 will automatically hides the info from displaying except the ones you want to look and it also has new Hangouts app which keeps all the SMS and MMS messages together in the same place along with other conversations and video calls.

In the coming weeks the Android 4.4 KitKat version will be available to more devices which are already being used. Users of Nexus 4, 7, 10, Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Play edition devices can expect the roll out in the coming weeks.
