Samsung Ready to Roll Out Curved Smartphones

The world’s largest handset maker, the Samsung Electronics Co Ltd, is setting up to bring in a curved display smartphone in October itself, in order to preserve its domination in this fast growing competitive market. A smartphone with a curved display will be considered as the beginning phase in screen advancement which may then move to bendable or foldable models, thereby causing a drastic change in the high-end smartphone business. D.J.Lee, the business head of strategic marketing of Samsung mobile, at the launching ceremony of the Galaxy Note3 smartphone in Seoul, declared that they were scheduling to commence a curved display smartphone at the beginning of October in South Korea.

However, it is obtainable through online dealers like Flipkart and Snapdeal for a concession of Rs. 8,490.

Samsung Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Note 3 will Launch in India on September 17

The launching ceremony of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear smartwatch is likely to be held on September 17 and the gadgets will be made available in the market from September 25. Samsung has called for a press conference on September 17 to the Indian media to "experience the Next Galaxy". Besides the sale of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear smartwatch in the market from September 25, Samsung has also to decided to introduce Note 10.1 at the end of this October at the time of Diwali. Earlier Samsung had launched these gadgets in an event held at Berlin, Germany.

Samsung Launches Galaxy Note 3 with 5.7 inch Display

South Korean brand leader Samsung has introduced a big screen smartphone which has a 5.7 inch display screen. Samsung first unveiled the monster 5.7 inch Galaxy Note 3 here in Berlin at the IFA show. Samsung presents the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone also in line with the current trend for big display phones. While taking into consideration of the design specifications, when comes to the third generation of Galaxy Note becomes more thinner than its predecessors at just 8.3 mm even though the screen size increased to 5.7 inch. The new device is much lighter than the other models in the series by weighing upto 168g. The 5.7 inch wide screen comes with Super AMOLED display and gives a picture resolution of 1920X1080 pixel density. To cater the additional power needs it is equipped with a 3,200mAh battery.

Samsung Introduces GALAXY Gear Smart Watch

Samsung gives reply to Apple and Google in terms of the smart-watch by announcing the Galaxy Gear smart-watch. Samsung describes the invention as "a perfect companion device that further integrates the Samsung GALAXY experience into everyday life. Samsung GALAXY Gear combines smart device connectivity, tailored technological features, and stylish design as a single premium accessory".

The new Samsung GALAXY Gear can be paired with another Samsung Galaxy android device through Bluetooth. But the device must possess Android 4.3 version. Galaxy Note 3 series are compatible with android 4.3 version.

Samsung Launches Smartwatches in September

Samsung Electronics plans to introduce a wristwatch in September that can make phone calls, play video games and send e-mails , potentially beating its archrival, Apple, to market with a piece of technology that moves mobile communications beyond the smartphone.

The watch, called Samsung Galaxy Gear, would be shown off "around the time" of an electronics industry trade fair in Berlin that begins September 6, a person briefed on the matter said. Samsung has scheduled a media event for September 4 at which it is also expected to introduce the Note III, a new version of its "phablet," a cross between a phone and a tablet. Apple reportedly plans to show off its first wrist-worn device, expected to be called the iWatch, at a Sept. 10 event in Berlin.
