The launching ceremony
of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear smartwatch is likely to be held on
September 17 and the gadgets will be made available in the market from September
25. Samsung has called for a press conference on September 17 to the Indian
media to "experience the Next Galaxy". Besides the sale of Samsung
Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Gear smartwatch in the market from September 25,
Samsung has also to decided to introduce Note 10.1 at the end of this October
at the time of Diwali. Earlier Samsung had launched these gadgets in an event
held at Berlin, Germany.
The Galaxy Gear
Smartwatch can be paired with Galaxy smartphones and we can operate the
functions of the associated smartphone with the Smartwatch. One can make
instant messaging, take photos and transfer it to the parent device and make
hands free calling through this high tech accessory. Its 1.63 inch wide display
screen helps users to see the incoming calls and messages. While the Galaxy
Gear comes in six colour variants- Jet Black, Mocha Gray, Wild Orange, Oatmeal
Beige, Rose Gold, and Lime Green.
Galaxy Note 3 is the
next version of Galaxy Note II smartphone which was launched last year. During
the IFA show Samsung had unveiled the Galaxy Note phone cum tablet version and
it possess monster 5.7 inch ful HD super AMOLED (1920 X 1080) display with
stylus support. The new device is expected to perform even faster than the
conventional 4G network. To make it more appropriate to the corporate world
Samsung has included the advanced KNOX security functions to the Galaxy Note 3
which is similar to one provided by BlackBerry in its devices. The Samsung
Galaxy Note 3 features a 2.3 GHz quad core processor and is running on Android
4.3 software. It has 3GB RAM and comes with a 13 MP main rear camera. The
device is available in 3 colours, Jet Black, Classic White and Blush Pink.
Both the Samsung Galaxy
Gear Smartwatch and Galaxy Note 3 are expected to go on sale by September 25.
