YotaPhone Launched with Dual Screen

Yota is a major communication systems manufacturer located in Russia. In these days Yota has appeared many times in the news dailies worldwide. Reason behind the sudden attraction on the company is; Yota has launched its first smartphone which has dual displays. It features a backlit LCD screen on the front side of the device and also has an electronic paper display designed to imitate the appearance of ordinary ink on paper and is always kept as switched on. The phone is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual core processor and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. It comes with 2GB RAM and the second electronic paper screen can stream social media, text messages, maps, weather and breaking news. One can also use it as an e-book .

YotaPhone was launched in Russia, Austria, France, Germany and Spain for the first time in 2013 and the company is planning to make it available in 20 more countries in next year. The phone houses a 13MP main camera with high resolution and is available in Black and White colours. The double sided Yota smartphone is packed with a 1800mAh battery. The YotaPhone components were manufactured in Japan and Taiwan and assembled in China. In Russia the phone is available at a price of 19,990 Russian rubles (600 USD) while in Europe its price will be 499 EUR (680 USD). After announcing Yota has received more than 10,000 pre orders for the device. Yota hopes that they could penetrate into the European handset market with this with its novel double sided screen.
