In 2012, Yamaha had released
a 'scooter for girls' section named as the Ray in India. Recently, Yamaha has
introduced its special edition called the Ray Precious edition and is planning
to make it available on this festive term. It will be made accessible for Rs
48,605 ex-Delhi and till the stock ends. The Precious edition is similar to the
regular Ray except for paint and some sticker job over it. The only
modifications made is 'Precious Edition 'written on top of the headlight in
pink and 'Ray Cygnus 'at the rear with black colour painted over it. The power
train will remain the same as that of the Ray, that is, 113cc air cooled 4
stroke SOHC engines that will provide 7.1PS and 8.1Nm of torque. Ray Z, another
version of the Ray, is designed exclusively for the men and it will be made available
at Rs 49,105, ex-Delhi.
