Flipkart Offers Google Nexus 7 Tablet for Rs. 9,999

Following the price slash of Nexus 4 smartphone, Nexus 7 has also seen a big drop in the price in India in online shopping portals. Officially the price dropping is not yet confirmed but the major online shopping portal Flipkart is now offering the 2012 model Nexus 7 tablet for Rs. 9,999 for the 16GB variant while one has to pay Rs. 13,499 for the 32GB version. Price listed in the official Google Play store is Rs. 15,999 for Nexus 7 16GB model and Rs. 18,999 for 32GB variant.

Some has the opinion that Flipkart is trying to sale off the stocks of Nexus 2012 model as it is expected that Google will launch the 2013 version of Nexus 7 recently. Google released the 2013 Nexus tablet in certain markets of the world in last July, but has not yet revealed any hint about the availability of the 2013 Nexus 7 in India.

The 2012 version Nexus 7 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and recently Google has sent the update to all units to upgrade it to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The gadget is controlled by a Nvidia Tegra 3 processor with a clock speed of 1.3GHz. It has a 7 inch IPs display screen with 1280X800 pixel resolution. Google Nexus 7 comes with a RAM of 1GB. It has a 1.2 MP front facing camera and is powered by a 4325mAh battery.
