Memory specialist
website Crucial has listed DDR4 in their website with a diagram explaining how
the various generations of memories are improvised in their architecture and in
performance. According to the site the DDR4 is coming out late in 2013 and we
can expect the faster memory will control the new computing world by the middle
of December.
As very much expected,
the DDR4 has a different architecture than its previous versions and it needs
to have new motherboard to hold the new system. The Crucial site explains DDR4
memory technology as the future of computing by designing to empower the new
generation of enterprise and consumer services. The DDR4 memory is build to
double the density of space per module which helps to pack more performance and
capability to the system.
The new memory system is expected to use 20% less power
than DDR3 and provides mainstream data rates that are almost doubles faster
than the previous version. One can experience processing data fast as twice,
launching programs faster, multitask environment will be more responsive and
the performance will be increased, As per the words of Crucial, “ If you
thought the tablets, ultrabooks, and desktops of today already seem fast — get
ready to be blown away. The technology that enables electronics is about to get
better and faster than ever before”.
